The Overall Purpose of the role is to;

Monitor, interpret, investigate and audit information held on the internal systems, ensuring information is correct and deadlines for 'follow ups' with members of the public are met.

Key Duties involved;

Maintain and monitor the System data to review, link and analyse information held on the system to ensure compliance requirements are maintained whilst merging, amending or removing inaccurate information and providing clear audit trails.

Research and analyse information on the system to make informed decisions on the accuracy of data held, ensuring that Thames Valley Victims First Hub is meeting agreed targets regarding follow up dates for victims of crime.

Quality assure information to create/amend data in line with Quality Assurance Framework. Review/verify inaccurate data identified by reports/users and monitor/evaluate standards of information in order to ensure compliance.


Investigate data to identify areas of concern/patterns of incorrect information, escalating to ensure the identified issues are resolved.


Support the audit program as required to identify problems/possible solutions and produce management information for Manager, thus facilitating informed decision making to ensure quality of service is monitored and maintained.


Training/mentoring of new staff to work to required standards, provide professional advice to colleagues reviewing data and consult with key users to ensure data quality is maintained.


Liaise with Users at all levels, be point of contact when providing expert advice and support promoting best practice in the use of the system establishing the effective working standards across the organisation and challenge poor standards of use.

Characteristics of the role

Knowledge of or willingness to learn systems

High knowledge of computer literacy

GCSEs A-C

Problem solving communication and relationship building skills

Proven ability to build effective relationships

Ability to work in a secure and confidential environment
