Position: Database and MIS Manager

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our MIS and Data team, ensuring the effective operational management of our databases, MIS, and data quality and reporting. The Database and MIS Manager will collaborate closely with Senior Managers and software providers to maintain the accuracy, validity, and integrity of all data, ensuring a positive user experience for staff and providers. Additionally, this role will oversee regulatory submissions, system testing, and the development of cyber security and data protection policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the operational management of the MIS and Data team
• Oversee maintenance and development of databases, MIS, and data quality and reporting
• Collaborate with Senior Managers and software providers to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Facilitate smooth user experience for staff and providers
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory returns
• Oversee extensive testing of system improvements
• Maintain, review, and develop cyber security and data protection policies and procedures
• Collaborate with users to identify data needs and improve processes
• Demonstrate excellent database management, communication, project management, and troubleshooting skills

Experience:

Computer system management: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Level 4+ in computing or other relevant qualification (required)
