A- Z Data entry Co-ordinator
We produce many high-profile event guides throughout the year and a key part of each of these publications is the Exhibitor A-Z which lists every stand holder at the event. Exhibitor A-Z listings are a valuable visitor tool and also a commercial opportunity as all exhibitors are invited to upgrade their content.
It is the responsibility of the A-Z co-ordinator role to take ownership of the Exhibitor data within each publication, manage change requests from exhibitors and show organisers, manage upgraded content ensuring that invoices and payments have been properly recorded and seek client approval on all pages before finally sending completed pages to press.
Liaise with clients to set up initial A-Z forms and online data-collection.
Set and maintain production schedules for A-Zs.
Source exhibitor list and circulate internally.
Add / amend new data to databases, check for errors and omissions.
Send proofs to clients, manage proofing process, subsequent amends and approvals of all entries.
Monitor and catalogue all supplied A-Z content.
Proof finial A-Z documents to clients, amend and update and deliver to pre-press within schedule.
Record all correspondence with exhibitors and clients for archiving.
Excellent communication - verbal and written
Strong confident telephone manner
Organisational / clerical / meticulous approach
Good knowledge of data handling within Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge / understanding of database technology (Filemaker preferred)
Sound IT skills - email / word processing / data management / online data capture
Good written English skills - ability to proof read and correct text essential
Email / online data management
Apple Mac OS X experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
