Job Brief: Data Analyst
Position Overview:I am seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst. As a mid-level professional, you will play a crucial role in extracting valuable insights from my client's current data warehouses, enhancing decision-making processes, providing the Chief Executive with enhanced Data Reports utilising data visualisation tools, improving the current reporting systems and providing solutions for replacements where needed.

Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Modelling:
• Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources.
• Create data models and perform statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Excel Expertise:
• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualisation techniques.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain complex spreadsheets for reporting and analysis.
• Data Visualisation:
• Leverage tools such as Power BI to create visually compelling dashboards and reports.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business users.
• Legacy Reports Enhancement:
• If you have experience replacing or improving legacy reports, it would be highly desirable.
• Assess existing reporting processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose enhancements.

Required Experience

• Proven experience in data analysis
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
• Expertise in Excel, including advanced functions and data visualisation.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
