About the role

Business Performance Team are looking for a self-learner, talented and performance driven individual to join us on 12-month placement for 2024.

If you are a current undergraduate student studying a numerate or analytical degree with an interest in data analysis, this role could be for you!

You will be responsible for the:

  • Drive daily/weekly/monthly reporting and analysis across the organisation.
  • Support the data interpretation to help the businesses understand and to speed up the decision-making process.
  • Creating and maintaining data reports and dashboards to track business performance.
  • Supporting Business Performance Manager in the development of data modelling, data visualisation, and data reporting efforts to uncover areas requiring process improvement.

About you

We are seeking an undergraduate student pursuing a minimum of a 2.1 grade in a related degree such as Mathematics, Economics, Computing, or other numeric STEM degrees. Ideal candidates will possess robust analytic capabilities and proficiency in handling extensive datasets, along with familiarity with statistical analysis tools and techniques. Proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel including VBA and Power BI is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, coupled with a problem-solving mindset and an investigative approach. While not mandatory, familiarity with Python, Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) would be advantageous.
