D2 Reach Truck / Warehouse Operative

Gi group are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives who hold an in date, valid D2 license to join our clients team on an long term temporary assignment with the possibility to be offered a permanent contract, dependent on role availability. Our client is a non - food manufacturer based on Foxhills Industrial Estate (DN15).

Hours of work
Rotating shifts
Monday to Friday
6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm

Pay Rates
Before 12 weeks - £12.24ph
After 12 weeks - £13.14ph

Overtime Rates
Before 12 weeks - £18.24ph
After 12 weeks - £19.71ph

Main duties
* Use of handheld scanners
* Use of Reach Truck in warehouse with racking up to 12 levels high
* Replenishing and picking stock in accordance with the requirements of the customer
* Ensuring all prepared shipments are picked / moved to dock using the Mobile Data Capture in a safe and timely manner
* Assembling pallets
* Ensuring daily checks are carried out on the Manual Handling Equipment and Warehouse Racking
* Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and safe
* Assist as required with any other reasonable request in line with business needs or customer requirements.

What we are looking for
* In date / Valid D2 Reach License
* Experience in operating FLT
* Experience in picking and replenishing products
* Reliability
* Willing to commit to the company on a long term basis
* Flexibility towards duties
