Pure Resourcing Solutions are searching for a dynamic Customs Supervisor to join a vibrant team based in Manchester. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for logistics and customs clearance, we want to hear from you!

Working at their Manchester office, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing all Customs Clearance requirements, collaborating closely with their other offices to ensure seamless operations.

What You'll Do: As a Customs Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing various aspects of the Customs process, from Import/Export customs entries to Bond documents and Customs amendments.
  • Championing our department's vision for successful business development.
  • Ensuring all Import, Export, and Cross Trade activities are completed accurately and on time, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Providing training and ongoing support to new starters and existing team members on Customs systems, procedures, and regulations.
  • Acting as a point of contact for out-of-hours Customs issues and assisting with Import/Export Compliance queries.
  • Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline departmental operations.
  • Cultivating strong customer and inter-departmental relationships, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
What You Bring: We're looking for candidates with:
  • Previous experience in a Customs role, ideally as a Customs E.T.S.F or similar, with a passion for freight and logistics.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A demonstrable background in administration, coupled with analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
