Hrgo are seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Clerk for our Client in the Dover area. Good analytical and excellent organisational skills are essential and you must work in a methodical manner and be able to respond effectively to enquiries. You must have previous experience as a Customs Clerk.

Duties include:

  • Calculating Duty / VAT cost for each consignment

  • Processing Import/Export declarations

  • Dealing with general enquiries from importers / exporters concerning all areas, relating to Customs Procedures, Tariff Classifications, Duty Rates and any other documentation requirements

  • Keeping up to date with changes in regulations, laws and customs procedure

Hours / Shifts are as follows -

Week 1

Mon, Tuesday 8am -8pm

Fri, Sat and Sun 8am-8pm

Week 2

Wed, Thurs - 8am-8pm.
