CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR - FREIGHT

My client is a well established freight forwarding who is seeking an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join team.

Daily duties include:

  • Acting as first point of contact for the customer and resolve any problems or concerns with the receiving, storing and shipping of goods
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key customers to develop more business opportunities
  • Communicating with customers to obtain information to ensure correct measures are in place
  • Liaise with customers and the customs department to ensure all documents are received within designated time frames
  • Coordinate with overseas agents/ partners to effectively monitor progress of customer orders and update the customer accordingly
  • Support the sales team by handling, processing and following up rate quotations
  • Be focal point for all queries from Key Account customers
