Are you a passionate call centre agent that has drive, someone that thrives in a fast-paced customer service environment and want to build a career where you will be trained and developed to achieve your potential? This role would suit someone that has previous call centre experience.

We are looking for a Customer Service Collections Advisor to join a market leading business in Stoke on Trent. You will be working on behalf of His majesty’s service.

You will work on an inbound and outbound dialler, responsible for delivering excellent service to customers who have missed payments and need to pay off their debt.

Fantastic training, Permanent roles, Progression, and a competitive starting salary of £23000 increasing to £23,500 after 6 months, plus a bonus potential of up to £2400 per annum (PRO ROTA).

Working Hours: - 20 hours per week

Saturday 8.00am until 7.00pm

Sunday 10am until 1.00pm

Plus either a Monday or Friday 12pm-8pm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Speaking with customers on inbound and outbound lines to discuss their arrears circumstances and missed payments
  • Ensuring the system is accurately updated after each call
  • Discussing debt resolution
  • Processing payments
  • Ensure the company bad debt policy is followed and reported accordingly
  • Delivering excellent service and supporting customers by showing empathy during difficult times
  • Achieve individual and team KPI’s
  • Liaise and communicate with the relevant departments regarding the customer’s journey

Skills required:

  • Proven experience working in a fast paced customer driven role
  • Work well under pressure and towards targets
  • Resilient and confident negotiating with customers regarding their payments
  • Strong written and verbal communications
