An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to join our clients National Contact Centre in Yardley, Birmingham, on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an important role which will place you at the heart of implementing our clients beliefs. Do you have a call centre background? Have the ability to build a rapport and communicate effectively?   • Making outbound calls to book participants in for their Initial Appointments, contacting employers and participants when they start employment to obtain ESF compliant documentation, as well as staying in regular contact with our participants who have found employment to support them through their work journey.
  • Making 80 – 100 outbound calls per day to participants/employers.
  • To also flex between inbound and outbound calls answering generally queries.
  • Updating our company database system to ensure records are up to date and accurate with any contact made with participants.
  • Liaising with Job Centre Plus as well as other internal and external stakeholders. About you: You must have the following skills and experience: Previous Contact Centre/customer service environment experience. Strong IT skills. Performance focused. Enjoys working to targets and deadlines. Exceptional timekeeping. Reliability. Strong telephone manner/skills including clear diction. Ability to handle conflict. Ability to follow processes. Ability to overcome objections. Accuracy in data entry. Someone who enjoys learning and has the ability to retain knowledge. Caring and positive attitude. Motivated by helping others and making a difference to the lives of others. Flexible approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Why work for our client?
