The Role: Customer Sales Manager
The Hours: Monday-Friday 09:00am-17:30pm
Location: Burgess Hill
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Plus Commission
Our well established, growing client, is looking for an experienced Customer Sales Manager overseeing the Burgess Hill and Ashford depots. You will play a crucial role in driving the sales strategy for the client’s overall performance of our telesales teams. This position requires a hard-working individual with a proven track record in sales management, team leadership, and a passion for delivering a high-performance culture.
Job role
- Lead and inspire the telesales teams across the two depots, putting in place key performance indicators using the data from the client’s system. Ensure you support your teams with a positive and motivational working environment where your teams can work hard but have fun.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team.
- Conduct regular 1-2-1 performance reviews and set individual and team goals aligned with the organisation’s sales strategy in that given year.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Implement initiatives to grow the customer base, exploring new opportunities and markets.
- Work with and encourage a strong relationship with the client’s field team to maximise sales opportunities for both teams.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, presenting findings to the Sales Manager and offer suggestions for ways to improve our teams.
- Maintain open and effective communication channels within the telesales teams, encouraging a collaborative and one team approach.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and productivity of the telesales teams.
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a multi-depot setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
