We are working with a leading quantitative hedge fund, that specialises in developing algorithmic trading strategies.

They are currently seeking a CTO, to lead their technology strategy, as well as developing there Trading platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Ensuring the Trading platforms is efficient and scalable.
  • Leading the technology team
  • Collaborate closely with traders, researchers, and risk managers to identify opportunities for alpha generation and risk mitigation.
  • Developing the data and IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership in a quantitative trading or financial technology environment, with at least 10 years of experience in a senior technology role.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, quantitative trading strategies, and algorithmic trading systems.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or similar, as well as experience with data analysis and machine learning libraries.
  • Expertise in designing and optimizing low-latency trading systems, high-frequency trading strategies, and market microstructure.
  • Experience with cloud platforms for example AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
