Contract Position - Inside IR35

Remote (Travel into Newport 1 x every 3 months)

From this continued success we are now looking to recruit a Credit Scorecard Developer to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans. As such Propel is seeking an experienced, dynamic, detail-orientated and achievement focused professional with advanced coding and statistical modelling skills to help meeting their objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for provision of statistical insight and development of predictive application and behavioural scorecards, PD models and calibration processes.

Role responsibilities;

  • Own development of application and behavioural scorecards with the team member oversight.
  • Conduct PD transformation of the scorecards.
  • Develop and document calibration process.
  • Complete documentation and procedural guides for future use.
  • Assist with governance approach and monitoring set up.
  • Assist with development of any other required reporting.

Key skills required;

  • Advanced computer literacy skills including expert programming in SQL, SAS, or Python.
  • Proven delivery of the application and behavioural scorecards development.
  • Proven delivery of score calibrations and PD modelling.
  • Extensive experience of strategy and scorecard analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Writes and speaks with ease.
  • Essential experience in small SME lending industry.
