What you'll do:

As a Credit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the process of efficient collections and fostering strong business partnerships across multiple regions. You will lead a team of 17 professionals, instilling a proactive, highly motivated ethos centred around client focus. Your role will involve risk management, approving 'high risk' credit decisions, and acting as a point of escalation for any issues within the credit control process. You will also have the opportunity to drive process improvements by working closely with various business heads and participating in system development work.

Provide leadership and management support to the credit control team ensuring high-quality service delivery
Maintain a proactive, highly motivated team focused on client satisfaction and continuous improvement
Act as a point of escalation for risks, issues, and incidents within the credit control process
Approve 'high risk' credit decisions as part of the customer take-on process
Liaise with relevant business department heads to identify and resolve queries early
Hold regular meetings with Sales and Customer Success Teams across various regions to progress outstanding issues
Work closely with business heads to identify process improvements
Participate in system development work to automate processes where possible


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Credit Manager position brings proven experience in leading large teams in a similar role. You possess strong leadership skills with the ability to set clear expectations and goals for your team. Your excellent interpersonal skills enable you to influence at all levels and challenge senior stakeholders when necessary. A CICM or AICM qualification is required for this role along with advanced Excel skills.
