Our client is a Legal 500 defendant insurance firm looking to expand its credit hire team with a new manager. The central purpose of this role is to improve technical and quality knowledge across the credit hire teams and that each individual is working to the best practice available.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders and directors to develop processes and policies that ensure best practice across the credit hire team
  • To ensure that all work produced by the credit hire department meets all current criteria
  • Ensuring that all file handlers are working to the best of their ability and exceeding and meeting their technical requirements
  • Responsible for all quality objectives across the credit hire department
  • Provide training and development programmes for staff where necessary

Candidate Requirements:

  • Comfortable handling pre-litigated and litigated credit hire claims
  • Solid understanding of insurance claims handling
  • Operational and supervisory experience in a credit hire environment preferable
  • Credit hire market knowledge
  • Ability to understand the potential impact of defendant claims handling.
