Mosaic Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an experienced credit controller, this can be on a part time or full time basis.  You will be working for a small family-run business located in Hertfordshire.
 
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage accounts receivable and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Proactively chase outstanding invoices through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Negotiate payment terms and settlements with clients while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Conduct credit checks on new customers and assess creditworthiness.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and address client queries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis for management review.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing processes and improve cash flow management.
 
Requirements:
 
  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller, preferably in a similar small business environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle for this position.
