Page Personnel are currently partnering with a market leading Financial Services business, based in Chester, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own ledger of aged debt

Description
The Credit Controller will be responsible for:
- Manage the collection of debts from company clients and customers.
- Monitor and maintain client accounts, ensuring timely debt payments.
- Implement effective recovery strategies for late payments.
- Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Handle and resolve client inquiries and disputes related to payments.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Contribute to the overall financial strategy and decision-making within the company.
Profile
The successful Credit Controller should have:
- A proven track record within a similar role
- Proficiency in financial software and databases.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Sound knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle disputes and inquiries.
