Page Personnel are currently partnering with a market leading Financial Services business, based in Chester, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own ledger of aged debt

Description

The Credit Controller will be responsible for:

• Manage the collection of debts from company clients and customers.
• Monitor and maintain client accounts, ensuring timely debt payments.
• Implement effective recovery strategies for late payments.
• Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Handle and resolve client inquiries and disputes related to payments.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Contribute to the overall financial strategy and decision-making within the company.

Profile

The successful Credit Controller should have:

• A proven track record within a similar role
• Proficiency in financial software and databases.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Sound knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle disputes and inquiries.
