Credit Controller

Pure are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established team in Colchester in a vibrant, fast paced office.

The primary focus of this role is to ensure debts are collected in a timely manner and that clients are kept up to date during the process. Maintaining relationships but also being in a position to manage difficult conversations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement credit control policies and the debt escalation process.
• Display ownership of assigned ledger/customers, chasing by phone, email and letter as necessary
• Ensuring card holder data is treated confidentially.
• Assist with new accounts; checking references, credit checks, ensuring credit application complete prior to approval.
• Manage account reviews; ensuring credit applications are up to date and all necessary information is received.
• Assist with the resolution of customer queries.
• Allocate cash accurately and in timely manner.

To be considered for this position you must have proven experience within a Credit Control vacancy and excellent knowledge of Credit Control processes. This is a fast paced role and the successful individual will be motivated, highly organised and proactive.
