Credit Controller, Temporary to Permanent, Lancashire

An opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join a growing team within a large and successful manufacturing business in the Blackburn area.

You’ll begin this position on a temporary contract which has the potential to turn permanent for the right candidate. You’ll an excellent hourly rate equivalent to £22k per annum.

Your New Job Role:

As a credit controller you will be responsible for significantly reducing debt within the business. You will be required to proactively chase payments via telephone and email whilst also maintaining the debtor ledgers in a daily basis. You will be required to issue reminders statements on a regular basis whilst liaising with both internal and external colleagues and maintaining positive working relationships in order to successfully settle outstanding invoices throughout the business. You will work to given targets as set by management and will be responsible for escalating client queries to more senior members of staff where required.

Your Experience & Our Requirements

You will need to have prior experience within credit control and will have proven success of significantly reducing company debts. You will have the ability to remain positive and confident when liaising with external sources and will be persistent in order to collect outstanding payments. You’ll need to have good IT skills including the use of excel and will be an excellent communicator both verbally and written.
