An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to work with our Client based in the Preston area.
You will start this role on an initial 6 month contract and will be given an excellent opportunity to gain exposure within a smaller but very quickly expanding business.
You will be paid an hourly rate based on your experience which will be between £10 and £12 per hour.
Your New Job Role:
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that any outstanding debt is collected within allotted timeframes. Part of your role will include chasing vendors for credit and debit notes in order to recuperate money owed. You will also be responsible for the negotiation of payment terms with the company’s clients and will need to take a proactive approach to resolving any financial queries. In addition to the above, you will be liaising with colleagues and external sources in order to build and maintain positive working relationships. You will also work towards targets as set by management.
Your Experience & Our Requirements
You will need to have worked within Credit Control in a previous job role and will be confident to chase debts on behalf of the business. You’ll need to be self-motivated and target driven with a persistent and professional approach and will have excellent IT skills including the use of Excel.
