A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to work for a leading electrical supplier on a 3 month temporary contract within the Merton area. Your main dutes will include:
Communicate with companies on a daily basis with regards to their overdue debts and queries.
Look into and resolve any queries which may be price or delivery related ,promptly.
Pass on queries that credit control can not resolve to the Accountant or Customer Services.
Up date the diary system using the relevant choices when an action has been taken.
At the end of each month, remind the customers that they have a balance due before it becomes outstanding.
Contact customers requesting early payment if they have exceeded their credit limit and orders are being held back.
Assess and renew all credit limits every 6 months and when otherwise requested
Referring accounts to legal once all other avenues of retrieving the debt have failed.
Dealing with credit control e-mails promptly
Constantly monitoring outstanding order report and deal with them as they come in.
Constantly monitoring Accountant’s outstanding order list and prompt him/her to process the ones are cleared .
Taking credit card payments and enter them on the system correctly.
Helping out on order processing when required.
Sorting out the invoices and statements
Assisting the Accountant when requested.
