About the Credit Control Team Leader role
As Team Leader, you'll ensure that our five-strong Credit Control department is efficiently managed at all times so that effective and timely payment runs are completed. From time-keeping and day-to-day achievement, to monitoring annual leave and absenteeism, you'll supervise and motivate the team and act as the point of contact for escalated complex queries. Ensuring that systems are in place so that incoming communications are processed promptly, and using your initiative to deal with queries, are key duties. Ideally you'll have Credit Control management experience, with exposure to managing multiple customer accounts.
Hours of work are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, although flexibility will be required at busy times.
What we’re looking for in our Credit Control Team Leader
- Ideally Credit Control management experience with exposure to managing customer accounts within a similar size organisation.
- Supervisory experience is an essential attribute with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
- Excellent level of planning and numeracy skills, together with an eye for detail.
- Good understanding and experience of the wider accounting function.
- Good level of experience in working with MS Excel and Word.
