I am looking for a dynamic cover supervisor to support a College in Swindon. The environment is STEM focused and specialises in Engineering and Cyber Security. There is a range of resources and pupils have strong relationships with their teachers.There is also a strong career education provision for pupils and students learn industry experience through apprenticeships and trips. Among the curriculum, there is a global and cultural learning program covering social and health education.

The role is immediate start and a full time position. As an integral member of the team you will be assisting the teaching departments by delivering lessons that are already prepared. Whether you are a Teaching Assistant looking for experience or an aspiring teacher, you should be an enthusiastic individual who is looking to make a difference for all students at the school. Training is provided on classroom procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of lessons

• Help manage classroom resources.

• Cover lessons when required under direction

• Work with teachers to track and support pupil progress.

• Work collaboratively with other staff

Requirements :

• Confident, reliable and able to follow instructions

• Flexible and a positive approach to teaching

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Experience working in secondary schools

• Effective classroom and behaviour management

• Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
