Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a thriving Birmingham secondary school this September. This position will be full time, term time only paying between £85-115 per day.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting students across KS3 and KS4, ensuring their access to the curriculum while maintaining a conducive learning environment for all. Your responsibilities will include delivering pre-planned lessons across various secondary subject areas. We are looking for an ideal candidate who has prior experience supporting students in a Secondary School or Further Education setting as a Cover Supervisor.

To be successful in this role as a Cover Supervisor, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of 5 GCSE passes at Grade C or above, including Maths and English.
  • Possess previous experience working with students aged 11 to 16.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and a strong interest in working in the education sector.
  • Demonstrate confidence in managing behaviour within a classroom setting.
  • Showcase passion and hard work, along with the ability to work with students of varying abilities.
  • Be a committed practitioner, striving for the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout your role.
