The Role:

As an Ad-Hoc Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of learning when teachers are absent. Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Delivering pre-prepared lessons and materials to students in various subjects.
2. Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
3. Ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their tasks.
4. Providing support to individuals or small groups as required.
5. Collaborating with fellow staff members to ensure effective communication and smooth transition between classes.

Requirements:

• A passion for education and a genuine interest in working with young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and availability to work on an ad-hoc basis, starting as soon as possible.
• Ability to confidently manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
• A degree in any subject or relevant experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
