Cover Supervisor

Do you thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment? Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a versatile and adaptable cover supervisor for a comprehensive secondary school in the Medway area. This is a full time long term position, immediate start until July 2024 with a daily rate of between £80 and £110 a day depending on experience.

The Role:

• Supervise and manage the classroom
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a positive learning environment at all times
• Maintain the behaviour within the classroom following the school's behaviour policy
• Support students in their learning and engagement within a variety of subjects
• Ensure the students have access to what they need in order to complete their work effectively

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying classroom environments
• Previous experience within a classroom setting is desirable but not essential
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
