Cover Supervisor Urgently Required

We're seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic team immediately and continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension into September 2024.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of classrooms and providing support to students in the absence of their regular teachers. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining classroom behaviour, delivering pre-prepared lesson materials, and offering assistance to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher

Maintaining discipline and managing classroom behavior effectively

Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task

Providing support and guidance to students with their work

Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a secondary school environment

Strong classroom management skills and ability to maintain discipline

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility and adaptability to work across various subjects and year groups

A passion for education and supporting the academic development of students
