Hays are looking to recruit 3 cover supervisors to work for us on a flexible, ad-hoc basis at our partnership Secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent.

Cover supervisors supervise the pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence. The cover supervisor's main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set. No planning, preparation or marking is required. This is more of a class supervisor position and therefore, no formal qualifications are required. However, some experience in the last few years of working with children is essential.

Your working hours will typically be between 8:30-3:30pm and you can choose the days you want to work each week. You would be paid on a weekly basis and be able to have a flexible work-life balance with this particular p

osition, as the days you work each week can vary to work around other commitments or lifestyle choices you have.
This is a very rewarding position where you will get to know individual schools and have the chance to help make a difference, whilst being able to earn money on a flexible basis, which suits a lot of people at present.

You will need to have experience of working with pupils / young adults to be considered for this position.
