5:00am to 1:00pm & 6:00pm to 2:30am, Monday to Friday

From 21st May Onwards - Temp to Perm

Morning Shift - £14.80ph & Evening Shift - £15ph

Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver seeking a rewarding role in a thriving warehouse environment? Do you have a knack for safely manoeuvring heavy loads with precision and care? Join our client’s team at their Bedford distribution centre and become an essential part of their logistics team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, and move goods throughout the warehouse.
• Safely stacking and retrieving items from shelves and storage areas.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles with accuracy and efficiency.
• Conducting regular equipment checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed, including order picking and packing.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet operational targets.

Requirements:

• Valid counterbalance forklift driver certification and proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
