Costing Engineer - Contract

I have an opportunity for somebody to come in and hit the ground running with a client of ours who are experts in Major Shallow Water Projects, Surveys, UXO management, seabed clearance and trenching, subcontracted services: trenching equipment and teams and joint, large-scale subsea project management

The role is a Cost Engineer on a contract basis, you can be either based from Aberdeen, Blyth or Darlington for this position on a hybrid basis

Key things to note about this contract role:

- It's Outside IR35
- Will be a 6 month contract to begin with
- Rate DOE

This would be an ideal role for somebody with experience in:

- Subsea or Offshore Project Experience beneficial, but not essential

- Strong Microsoft Excel experience

- Understanding Project Scheduling

- The ability to process project finance administrative information
- Preparing and analysing labour summaries
- Data manipulation analysis
- Financial month end analysis
- Working with project managers, dept heads and budget holders internally
- Monthly cost reports, (cash flow, actual costs to date, forecasting for large projects)
