Broadgate are working with a global Fund and Corporate services firm looking to expand their Private Client / Family Office department. The client is looking for an Escrow and Corporate Trust Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of escrow clients and other trust appointments.

The role is paying £50,000 - £55,000 + bonus in London

About You:

  • Escrow and Trust management experience
  • Knowledge of client KYC
  • Experience within an Asset Management, Funds or Family Office environment.

About the Role:

  • Co-ordinating and carrying out the take-on of new transactions in accordance with established procedures and Company policies, including evaluating, commenting on and approving the form of documents, specifically trust deeds, escrow agreements and notices and circulars for circulation to Beneficiaries in conjunction with a centralised team
  • Co-ordinating and ensuring the carrying out of all client due diligence (KYC) and ensuring that all appointments comply with reporting requirements under FATCA, CRS and AEOI
  • Ensuring that the team's day to day administration is carried out within the framework of the relevant governing trust deed or agreement and, where appropriate, regulatory legislation
  • Approving tax returns and VAT calculations ensuring that payments of tax are effected as and when due and reviewing annual accounts prepared by Operators / Accountants prior to audit
  • Considering proposals affecting the rights, protections and remedies of Beneficiaries by interpretation and application of provisions of trust deeds, liaising with the Issuer/Operator and Trustee's solicitors, as appropriate.
  • Controlling and supervising the holding in trust of cash and other assets and their appropriate distribution
  • Ensuring that annual reviews, client billing and other internal controls are conducted and observed in consultation with the Manager, negotiating and agreeing terms on which the Company will act
  • Developing a strong working relationship with clients, law firms, investments banks and other industry professionals
