Corporate Tax Manager

We are working closely with a modern and well-respected firm of Chartered Accountants, assisting with their search for a Corporate Tax Manager to join their team in Wakefield.
This firm is a fantastic success story, having grown significantly since inception to now offering their clients a range of services including Audit, Tax, Accountancy and Outsourcing. This firm has a wide range of individuals working for them and they are now keen to expand their existing team.

About the role:

• Managing tax planning projects such as complex corporate restructuring, creation of groups and corporate finance tax due diligence.
• Preparing and reviewing complex tax computations relating to large companies, groups and those requiring audit (up to £100m).
• Dealing with QIPs calculations and group tax relief.

• Managing client relationships, including fee negotiation.
• Liaise with HMRC and third parties.

About the candidate:

• Ability to maintain client relationships and explain complex tax planning/transactions to them in a clear and succinct way.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge in a range of areas within Corporate Tax.
• Previous experience of advisory and planning work for corporate entities would be desirable.
• Must be able to drive with access to own vehicle to facilitate onside working and client meetings.
• CTA or ATT qualified with relevant Practice experience.
