Corporate Governance Officer, ASAP start based in Caerphilly. 37.5 hours per week, £17.53 - £21.42 per hour

Your new company
You will be based with a large, well respected public sector organisation which has a UK presence. This site is based in Caerphilly. This role is temporary, initially for a period of 12 weeks. This role is 37.5 hours per week, and is £17.53 - £21.42 per hour, depending upon experience.

Your new role
You will be responsible for managing the corporate business support and ensuring the correct processes are in place for management / board level meetings. You will be responsible for producing reports and papers for formal committees, and ensuring all documentation is in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines. You will also be responsible for liaising with various internal and external stakeholders, and work closely with senior personnel to ensure the smooth flow of decision making and processes. You will be responsible for taking minutes in meetings, ensuring strict confidentiality at all times. You will support the joint committee with any duties as and when required, whilst providing general governance assistance and support to the Chairs. You will be responsible for the arranging venues and catering arrangements, and preparing packs in a timely manner. You will coordinate the induction process for new Independent Members and provide support to the Chair to ensure effective communication with the independent members.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience within a similar Governance Role and have knowledge around a full range of Corporate Procedures. You will have strong administration / managerial skills and have experience taking minutes in meetings. You will have experience managing a budget and have excellent time management / organisational skills. You will have excellent communication skills and be confident liaising with various internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong analytical skills and be a proactive, driven individual. You will be immediately available to start a new post.
