Corporate Account Handler

A new opportunity has come to market within the Corporate division of an established and reputable independent insurance brokerage in Manchester City Centre.

This opportunity will suit an experienced Account Handler with a proven background of handling large corporate risks spanning a wide range of cross-class commercial insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with clients to truly understand their requirements, ensuring a quality service is delivered and the requisite level of cover is provided.
• Managing the renewal process and handling mid-term adjustments.
• Ensuring information is recorded correctly on Acturis.
• Liaising with partner brokers to ensure that insurance placements are coordinated.
• Providing a first-class service at all times to clients.

Skills and Experience Required:

• You will need to have a strong background and experience in commercial insurance broking, dealing with large corporate clients.
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of different products.
• Will be an excellent communicator and effective negotiator, in order to secure the best deals for clients.
• Able to develop and maintain solid working relationships with clients and insurers.
• Possess outstanding sector and industry knowledge.
• Experience of using Acturis would be advantageous, albeit not essential.

Salary & Benefits:

• £40,000-£50,000 Dependent on Experience
• 25 Days Holiday, rising with service, plus Bank Holidays.
