CopeStar & Payment Support Analyst

  • Long term rolling contract
  • Inside IR35

This is an application and technical support role involving the management of CopeStar, HP NonStop, and SWIFT Alliance. The successful applicant will work closely with Back Office Support, Development and other technical teams to ensure the availability of business-critical applications, both from a BAU support and a projects perspective.

Role Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day support of the CopeStar application & HP NonStop system for the processing of sterling CHAPS payments, along with other associated payment applications
  • Develop solutions to Business requirements for payment processing, either internally or by working closely with the CopeStar application vendor.
  • Monitor the performance of core applications and report upon any issues or trends
  • Provide hands-on BAU support including early/late rotas and on call out of hours support
  • Ensure DR services are maintained to the same standard as production
  • Liaise with application vendors to investigate & resolve payment application issues

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Technical knowledge of the CopeStar application & associated HP NonStop infrastructure
  • Shell Scripting and ControlM batch processing.
  • Technical knowledge of AML processing.
  • Business knowledge of RTGS/CHAPS payment processing.
