Contracts Manager
Location: East Sussex
Salary: £50,000.00 - £55,000 + car allowance + bonus
Summary:
Supporting this well-known logistics service provider to ensure the operation of their staff and the resources employed on their contracts are fulfilled to full client satisfaction and that all financial targets are met within a highly compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all budgets are achieved and KPIs are met.
- Monitor, manage and co-ordinate all depot based resources.
- Set and agree objectives with operational staff.
- Manage a sizeable unionised workforce.
- Manage the profit and loss of the contracts.
- Assist with the development of drivers and staff.
- Deliver first class customer service and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Management of Service charges
Experience:
- Extensive Operations Management experience from services or logistics
- Extensive understanding of the waste industry and relevant laws
- CPC qualification
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety and hold an IOSH certificate or equivalent.
- Able to manage multiskilled and unionised work forces
- Commercially driven with strong financial acumen and profit and loss experience
