What you'll be doing

We are looking for a Contractor Liaison Co-ordinator on a part time basis for a 1 year fixed term contract. In this role you will undertake effective coordination of repairs and maintenance works, administrative duties and financial and statistical functions in support of all repairs and maintenance contractors providing excellent planned maintenance, responsive repairs, empty homes, compliance and grounds services to all of our customers.

  • Assist Planners and Supervisors in co-ordinating and monitoring the responsive repairs services delivered by contractors, effectively responding to queries.
  • Liaise with Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors), Operational Supervisors, contractors, Planners, CRC and customers to provide information and support to them as required.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Planner Supervisor, Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors) and the Operations management team in relation to service delivery
  • Raise orders for works as requested by the Planner Supervisor or Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors) and apply all job costing information accurately and in a timely manner to works in progress or completed jobs, forwarding to the appropriate person or team.
  • Liaise with Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors) and Planner Supervisor to ensure all repairs feedback is actively dealt with and follow up actions in place to improve the customer satisfaction.

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Experience of office systems and procedures
  • High level of computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Able to prioritise work and manage conflicting deadlines.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to use own initiative.

Please note the following:

this role will be on a part time basis working Mondays and Fridays, 12.5 hours a week, for a 1 year fixed term contract. Initially for the first 2 weeks hours can be increased for training purposes. Although we have a hybrid working structure, for the 6 month probation period of this role, it will be office based.
