Zitko are looking for a Contractor to undertake the below role;

Service Manager (Maternity Contract) - June 2024 - 18 month contract

Location: Romford

Salary: £40-50k

Our client is looking for a Service Manager who will be responsible for the overall successful delivery of allocated service contracts. The candidate will act as a high-level interface between our client and their client, focussing on the stability of the relationship and client retention whilst ensuring the contract terms and conditions, both commercial and operational, are adhered to all times by both parties. The candidate will also possess strong customer relationship skills, the ability to analyse and understand financial and operational data and communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Revenue Maximisation - Generation and completion of small works and maximisation of contract account value at all times, e.g. chargeable calls, contract extensions, etc
  • Profatibility - Retain or improve gross profit margins across all allocated contracts
  • Client Retention - Monitoring of KPI's and contractual performance during the term
  • Contract Delivery - Ensure the contract can be always fulfilled in terms of resource capacity and capability in conjunction with the Service Co-ordination team
  • Client/Contract Liaison - Communicate with all parties involved on a regular basis through regular client meetings as required. Prepare and distribute reports as required and directed
  • Reporting - Produce SLA and KPI reports specific to the contracts allocated. Production and distribution of bespoke reports for clients as required
  • Commercial - Always develop cost savings where possible in relation to allocated contracts and company resource. Assist with the provision of correct invoicing details and cash collection where applicable
  • Health and Safety - Ensure compliance with all H&S requirements on all sites/contracts
  • Escalation - On a rota basis, provide 3rd tier escalation support to engineers and clients OOH
  • Direct reports - Ensure all service engineers are correctly trained, equipped, managed and developed in line with company values and goals

The ideal candidate should have following experience and skills:

  • Previous experience within a senior position
  • Organising resource labour to meet customer expectations
  • In front line resolution of customer queries
  • Working to customer KPI's
  • Attending performance meetings with customers
  • Technical experience in an engineering role (Desirable)
  • Organising a team of Engineers (Desirable)
  • Understanding of P&L for contracts (Desirable)
