The Redline Group have an EXCLUSIVE opportunity for a Contract Embedded Software Engineer to be a crucial part of a new product development team, working mostly remotely with occasional trips to their Gloucestershire offices.

This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.

Involved in some of the most state-of-the-art electronics, our customer is about to embark on the next generation of their popular products. They have offices around the world, with products designed and developed in the UK and opportunity for significant expansion on the horizon.

You will provide your expertise in embedded software development to ensure on-time and in budget delivery of this project.

Key Skills Required - Contract Embedded Software Engineer, Gloucestershire:

- Strong experience writing embedded C code

- Experience of working with microprocessors, an appreciation of STM32 is of particular interest.

- Experience of serial comms (I2C, SPI, Ethernet etc.)

Strong Desirable:

- Those with experience of working to SIL2/IEC61508 standards

Candidates MUST be able to achieve UK SC Clearance.
