Container Controller Coordinator

Do you have previous shipping or logistics administration experience, have a can-do attitude along and accurate with your work Maybe you have some office experience but would like to start a career in Southampton's thriving shipping industry So whether you have some shipping experience or looking for an entry level role, this could be a good fit for you

The Role:

Working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm in a busy office within the Docks, you be part of a container control team, managing the flow of containers around the Port, onboard vessels and out for delivery. Good computer skills is a must as very system based. You will be the main point of contact for exports for a leading shipping line.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Ensuring containers are Customs cleared
• Managing the flow of shipping documentation
• Manifesting cargo, declaring dangerous goods
• Provide great customer service

Essential Criteria:

• Previous logistics / shipping admin experience

Salary & Benefits:

For these positions, our client is looking to pay between £18-23K depending on experience for the right person. Free on site parking and other benefits on offer.
