Providing a critical resource to over 6 million customers across the driest and largest geographical area covered by a water company in the UK, whilst keeping your bills as low as possible provides unique and complex challenges.
Essential to meeting and exceeding our commitments to our customers and communities is our Integrated Metering and Developer Services (IMDS) Alliance who cover industrial and domestic metering, new housing and estate infrastructure and water efficiency audits.
To help us deliver a friendly and helpful customer service, we are looking for a Contact Team Member to join the Customer Services Metering team in Huntingdon.
It is an exciting time to join our Customer Services Metering team as we are exploring new ways of communicating with our customers. This will be a huge leap forward for the team so if you have a passion for customer service, resolving issues and embracing new ways of communication, we are keen to hear from you!
As a Contact Team Member you'll deal with our customers directly; planning, scheduling and making customer appointments and then updating our systems with the details. You'll also deal with queries from our customers, ensuring that these are answered correctly or ensuring that they are directed to the correct place for resolution. Using your strong IT skills you'll regularly analyse SAP and other systems in order to provide information to our key stakeholders.
Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, you will have a sound understanding of a customer service environment, particularly in dealing with customers over the phone. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital.
You'll confidently show initiative, working on your own or as part of a team. Excellent IT and keyboard skills are vital and a thorough knowledge of the metering process is desirable but not essential. You'll need to be able to work flexible hours to help deliver to our customers.
This role is part of an exciting new alliance between Anglian Water Services Ltd, Clancy Docwra Ltd and The Kier Group. By applying for this role you give your consent for your application details to be shared for recruitment purposes with these companies.
