Location: West (Apsley) and East (Stevenage), Hertfordshire County Council

Job Description:
Hertfordshire County Council is seeking dynamic and dedicated Consultant Social Workers to join our Family Safeguarding teams in both West (Apsley) and East (Stevenage). As a Consultant Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting families and ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert social work intervention and guidance within the Family Safeguarding framework.
- Conduct assessments, formulate care plans, and implement effective interventions to address the needs of children and families.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners to ensure holistic support for families.
- Utilize advanced social work skills to contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
- Engage in reflective practice, sharing knowledge and expertise within the team.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid Full UK Driving Licence.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year post-qualifying experience in a social work role.
- Completion of ASYE, demonstrating a strong foundation for professional practice.
