Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: From preconstruction to construction, collaborate with the project team to develop comprehensive project programme, including timelines, milestones, and prelim for the construction of 1,200 high-rise apartments in Manchester, City Centre.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all planning and development activities comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Site Evaluation: Conduct site assessments to identify potential challenges and opportunities for the development, considering factors such as infrastructure, utilities, and community impact.
  • Feasibility Studies: Prepare feasibility studies to assess the financial viability of the project program including cost estimates and revenue projections.
  • Design Coordination: Work closely with architects and designers to ensure that the project's design aligns with the vision and goals of MCR Property Group.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including local authorities, contractors, and consultants, to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project resource expenses and budgets to ensure that the development remains within cost constraints.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and project stakeholders on the project's status, including any issues or delays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering.
  • Proven experience in residential planning and development, with a focus on high-rise buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of local planning and zoning regulations in Manchester.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
