Conduct & Operations Manager

Compliance & Operations Manager | Insurance Broker | N. London/WFH | £35 - 45,000 (doe)

Finitas are delighted to be exclusively engaged with a growing insurance broker in their search for a Compliance & Operations Manager. This is a new role created due to positive company growth and will be reporting into the Managing Director.

Working in a small insurance broker, you will be working across all areas of compliance & operations giving you unparalleled exposure and plenty of progression & development opportunities.

Some responsibilities will include:

• Leading the operational implementation of new processes and process changes
• Leading on the implementation and embedding of the Group policies and procedures.
• Maintaining the complaints register.
• Identifying, reporting and escalation of regulatory breaches, loss events and systemic issues
• Coordinate the quarterly review of the risk and control registers and completion of quarterly conduct risk MI.
• Supporting the Directors with reviews and general administration tasks

Experience required:

• Must have worked in a general insurer or insurance broker previously.
• Minimum 2 years compliance or operations experience working into an insurer.
• Strong FCA knowledge and solid working knowledge of key regulatory requirements e.g. ICOBs, DISP, GDPR.
• Effective communicator - written and verbal with the ability to build relationships at varying levels including c-suite.
• Self-starter with the ability to operate independently.
• Competent user of Microsoft Applications.
• Knowledge of Acturis system is advantageous.

Please note that you will be required to work in their North London office 3 days a week.
