ICT Teacher

Location: Fazakerley, Liverpool

Contract: Long term

School Type: SEMH/PRU

Tradewind Recruitment are working with an SEMH Pupil Referral Unit based in Fazakerley, Liverpool. The school provides an alternative route into education for Key Stage 3 students.

The school offers a short stay setting for children who have either been or at risk of being permanently excluded. They serve the entire Liverpool region and are committed to supporting vulnerable pupils.

We are currently looking for a qualified ICT or Computer Science Teacher to join their team.

Responsibilities can include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and deliver a challenging ICT curriculum tailored to the needs of SEMH students.
  • Implement teaching methods that effectively engage students.
  • Utilise differentiation strategies to support the progress of students with varying abilities.
  • Assess and record the development, progress, and achievements of students.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents/carers.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience planning and delivering an appropriately challenging curriculum.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
  • Commitment to supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of vulnerable pupils.
