Our client is an award-winning financial services provider based in The City, specialising in areas such as HNW Mortgages, Wealth Management, General Insurance, Life Insurance, Short Term Lending, Commercial Finance and Asset Finance.

A newly created opportunity has become available for a Compliance Officer with a bias towards Consumer Duty to join the team.

As the Consumer Duty Specialist in the business, you will play an integral role in ensuring key consumer duty regulatory objectives are met across the various business units (Mortgages, Insurance, Wealth & Specialist Lending).

Skills & Expertise required:

  • At least 3 years compliance experience within financial services (ideally mortgages / insurance / wealth)
  • At least 12 months years relevant Consumer Duty experience (industry, consulting, regulator)
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the UK regulatory framework
  • Experience of delivering good customer outcomes and/or working within the Consumer Duty space ·
  • Identify inherent, current and emerging risks
  • Identify regulatory breaches, operational incidents, training gaps or process failures
  • Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to think for yourself and anticipate what is required with minimal direction

Package:

Up to £60k Basic + Bonus + Benefits
