Do you understand thermodynamics to a high technical level?

Do you have good working knowledge of mechanical engineering, most likely evidenced through a BEng or MEng degree?

Do you have experience of managing the regulations and technical standards applicable to complex mechanical manufacturing, covering compliance for both R&D and production teams?

This could be the role for you!

Compliance Manager - Role and Responsibilities - Mechanical Engineering, Standards, Regulation, Technical, Product Safety, Thermodynamics

* Ensure that parts and products are compliant with legal regulations and requirements throughout the product development process
* Monitor regulations and advisory bulletins to understand any changes to product design or manufacturing
* Capture and maintain the company's compliance and requirements documentation, standard references, testing, declaration and certifications
* Write technical assessments and summaries of report findings
* Assist auditors and coordinate external testing

Compliance Manager - Skills and Abilities - Mechanical Engineering, Standards, Regulation, Technical, Product Safety, Thermodynamics

* BEng or MEng (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering (or related subject)
* Good understanding of thermodynamics
* Excellent problem solver for challenging issues with ambitguity and/or no clearly 'right' answer
* A background in compliance, regulation, legislation and technical standards
