This role is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Communications and Public Relations Officer to lead and shape the public relations strategy for a prestigious not-for-profit organisation in Wrexham. Description

  • Lead and manage the development of public relations and communications strategies.
  • Coordinate with marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans.
  • Manage relationships with media outlets.
  • Monitor and report on media coverage related to the organisation.
  • Coordinate and manage public events to enhance the organisation's visibility.
  • Manage the production of public relations and marketing materials.
  • Ensure all communications activities comply with industry regulations and standards.

Profile

A successful Communications and Public Relations Officer should have:

  • A degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Experience leading a team in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful PR strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of media operations and crisis management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

Job Offer

  • An salary between £32,000 and £37,000 or equivalent day rate, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • 1 day per week on site.
